About the role

CoinDesk Media is seeking a senior engineer to design and deliver high‑performance web and mobile experiences for its global crypto news platform. You will own end‑to‑end development of backend services and React‑based front‑ends, integrate AI‑driven content workflows, and ensure scalability, security, and SEO excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and React/Next.js front‑end applications that power real‑time news, market data, and interactive features.
• Integrate large language model (LLM) based AI agents into product tooling and content pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, design, and editorial teams to improve SEO, page speed, and overall user experience.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices to guarantee code quality and security.
• Instrument features, analyze metrics, and iterate based on data‑driven insights.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js, GCP services (Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Terraform), and automated testing.
• Experience building AI‑enabled workflows or integrating LLMs.
• Ability to work across teams and contribute to product vision.
