SDET – Test Engineer

About the role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled SDET – Test Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test automation and experience with Playwright with C#.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (C#)
• Build and maintain reliable API automation layers for backend services
• Integrate automated tests into Azure CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with core development teams to ensure quality across the delivery lifecycle

Eligibility

• B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant technical stream
• Strong test automation experience using Playwright with C#
• Expertise in API Test Automation (including REST services validation and creating automation frameworks)
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud environments and CI/CD pipeline setup
