Associate Engineer, IT Eng System Mgr

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring fresh graduates for an entry‑level Associate Engineer position focused on IT infrastructure. You will support Linux and Windows systems across labs, data‑centers and cloud environments, handle incident management, monitor performance, and automate routine tasks using modern tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for Linux and Windows servers, desktops and lab equipment.
• Collaborate with lab, data‑center, cloud and engineering teams to ensure system stability.
• Participate in 16/5 rotational on‑call duties, classify incidents and meet SLA targets.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, documenting root causes and solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure health using tools like Zabbix and generate performance reports.
• Drive proactive maintenance and suggest process improvements.
• Utilize automation platforms such as Ansible and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift) to streamline operations.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools for ticket analysis and knowledge‑base updates.

Eligibility

• Fresh graduate (0 years of experience) with a B.E. or B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline.
• Mandatory knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn infrastructure tools.
