About the role

The Java Developer will join Citi’s Applications Development team to design, code, test and release Java‑based solutions. Working in a hybrid setting, the role focuses on building RESTful APIs, micro‑services and cloud‑native components while collaborating with program management and quality teams.

Responsibilities

Write, test, document and deliver Java code as part of an agile development squad.
Review peer code for correctness, performance and adherence to design standards.
Coordinate production release planning and execution.
Analyse existing applications to spot risks, redundancies and improvement opportunities.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, propose solutions and implement fixes.
Stay current with industry trends and Citi’s internal standards.
