About the role

The Cash & Trade Proc Analyst 1 role in Pune supports Citi's Transaction Services team by handling a variety of cash, payment, trade and wholesale card transactions. The analyst acts as a subject‑matter expert, ensures efficient processing, and contributes to risk‑aware operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute regular, restricted and legal transfers, covering payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert to streamline processing and suggest procedural enhancements.
• Analyze data and apply technical knowledge to recommend solutions to operational challenges.
• Respond to deliverable requests from internal and external clients and vendors promptly.
• Participate in cash and trade operations projects as needed.
• Understand how the cash and trade team collaborates with other functions to achieve business goals.
• Assess risk in decision‑making, uphold Citi’s reputation, and ensure compliance with laws, policies and ethical standards.

Eligibility

• Previous relevant experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Fundamental understanding of financial industry regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
