Product Frontend Engineer – Equities Engineering

About the role

Citadel is looking for a Product Frontend Engineer to design and implement high‑performance, data‑intensive user interfaces using React and TypeScript. The role focuses on building tools that support research, risk analytics, and investment decision‑making for the Equities business in New York.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, fast React applications that handle large volumes of financial data.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript and JavaScript code to implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and risk analysts to translate complex requirements into intuitive UI components.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services, including Python‑based APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice standards for frontend development.

Eligibility

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience building frontend applications.
• Ability to work onsite at Citadel’s New York office.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality software.
