About the role

Charles Schwab India is hiring an Associate Software Developer in Hyderabad to build and maintain high‑volume, cloud‑based processing applications. The position is full‑time, onsite and ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and support critical applications using cloud technologies.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and product owners to solve complex problems.
Apply industry best practices and standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Write unit tests ensuring high code coverage and maintain quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and follow Agile development practices.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
0‑2 years of professional software development experience.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

Skills

Proficiency in Java, C# or C++.
Experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and stored procedures.
Unit testing with high code coverage.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
