About the role
Barclays is looking for a QA Analyst in Pune to design, develop and execute testing strategies that ensure software quality, performance and user experience. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, automated test creation and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with quality standards.
- Create and run automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright and related frameworks.
- Work with developers and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and understand requirements.
- Perform root‑cause analysis of defects and support their resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in testing.
- Mentor junior testers and drive automation best practices across the team.
