Apprentice, Software Development Engineer (COO-ESE-EXP)

About the role

Autodesk is hiring an Apprentice, Software Development Engineer (COO-ESE-EXP) at Bengaluru. This is an apprentice program for early-career talent – final-year students or recent graduates – who want hands-on experience building, deploying and supporting scalable software and cloud-based solutions in a real-world engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications under guidance.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting and issue resolution (L1 support).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and demos.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts and deployment workflows.
• Assist in cloud infrastructure provisioning and management (AWS/Azure/GCP) and monitor system health.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025 and 2026 (final-year students or recent graduates).
• Knowledge of Python, Java, C++, JavaScript or similar; data structures, algorithms and OOP concepts.

Skills

• Git, databases (SQL/NoSQL), web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs) and SDLC.
• Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, ML concepts and monitoring tools.
