DevOps Engineer

About the role

Apple is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) group in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, managing, and scaling automated infrastructure for Apple's internal developer ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Automation Pipeline Design: Architect and deploy robust solutions to eliminate repetitive manual processes across enterprise codebases.
• Incident Triage: Partner with core operational engineering units to triage production and security issues, conducting end-to-end root cause analysis (RCA).
• System Optimization: Continuously monitor and expand the runtime capacity and general performance of current software distribution layers.
• Tooling Management: Build and scale custom deployment tools enabling reliable, quick releases across multi-cloud environments.

Eligibility

• Industry Experience: 6 to 18 months of proven tracking in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), systems architecture, or build/release automation frameworks.
• Scripting Excellence: Solid practical experience writing highly reliable, efficient Python scripts for environment automation.
• Programmable Infrastructure: Hands-on exposure configuring CI/CD pipelines and programmable components using Terraform, Ansible, and the Kubernetes toolset.
