About the role

Anaplan is seeking a senior application developer to design and deliver workforce‑planning solutions on the Anaplan platform. Based in Gurgaon, you will translate product requirements into scalable models, build intuitive user experiences, and ensure high‑quality releases for global enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Convert business needs into robust Anaplan models and UX components, adhering to best‑practice standards.
  • Design end‑to‑end applications for strategic workforce planning, compensation, and organizational design.
  • Collaborate with product managers, technical PMs, and professional services to define platform dependencies and enhancements.
  • Lead quality‑assurance activities, performance testing, and iterative refinements.
  • Incorporate new Anaplan features (forecaster, optimizer, etc.) into existing solutions.
  • Support sales and customer success teams with demos, training, and escalation handling.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 5 years of experience building Anaplan models for workforce, finance, or operations.
  • Level 3 Anaplan certification (Master Anaplanner preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Skills

  • Deep expertise with the Anaplan platform and model‑building techniques.
  • Understanding of workforce‑planning use cases and HR source systems.
  • Experience designing user‑friendly UX and data‑integration flows.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex project timelines.
  • Knowledge of Anaplan extensions such as Forecaster, Optimizer, ADO, Workflow, Polaris.
