Front-End Engineer II

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Front-End Engineer II to shape the user experience of the Paragon case‑management platform used by Stores teams. You will design, develop, and maintain micro‑frontend based interfaces, ensuring they are responsive, performant, and accessible for thousands of internal users across India.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain React‑based web applications and reusable component libraries.
• Architect and evolve micro‑frontend and composable UI solutions that enable extensive UI variation without technical debt.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers and business teams to translate requirements into functional features.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability and cross‑browser compatibility while writing clean, well‑documented code.
• Mentor peers, lead code‑review sessions and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure high availability of the platform.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of professional front‑end development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• At least 4 years of solid computer‑science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures and algorithms.
• Hands‑on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Preferred: 1 + year of agile development experience and familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js.
