Front End Engineer - AWS Agentic AI Automated Reasoning

About the role

Amazon is looking for a senior front‑end engineer to join the AWS Agentic AI Automated Reasoning team. Based in Seattle or New York, you will create the user interface for a safety platform that lets customers define, simulate and audit boundaries for AI agents, blending modern web technologies with cutting‑edge automated‑reasoning research.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core UI components for policy authoring, management, audit and agent simulation.
• Build customer‑facing experiences for existing agent platforms such as Kiro and Quick.
• Develop, deploy and operate the front‑end portion of the safety platform at cloud scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews.

Eligibility

• 2+ years of professional front‑end, web or mobile development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of solid computer‑science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular and React.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile software development practices.
