Security Executive

About the role

Akasa Air is hiring Security Executives for its Delhi operations. The role involves safeguarding passengers, staff and airport assets by enforcing aviation security standards, conducting threat assessments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with BCAS, MoCA and airline guidelines. Candidates with a minimum HSC qualification and up to seven years of aviation‑security experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security standards and follow the airline’s Security Programme.
• Conduct threat assessments, respond to incidents and control theft or pilferage.
• Monitor restricted and controlled areas and ensure access compliance.
• Prepare and verify documentation, log‑books, applications and invoices.
• Support training needs, update manuals and local procedures.
• Coordinate with shift teams, airport operators and regulatory authorities.

Eligibility

• Minimum education: HSC; graduates are preferred.
• Experience: 0–7 years in aviation security (freshers eligible for Security Officer level).
• Height: minimum 155 cm for females, 165 cm for males.
• No visible tattoos.
• Relevant certifications such as AVSEC Basic and BCAS Inline Screener are advantageous.
