About the role
Acron Aviation seeks a Specialist Software Engineer focused on Verification & Validation for its safety‑critical surveillance avionics. Based in Bangalore, you will work on DO‑178C compliant testing for TCAS, transponders and ADS‑B systems, ensuring certification readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead DO‑178C verification activities, including test planning, execution and documentation.
- Collaborate with software, systems and program leads to define verification strategies and meet milestones.
- Develop and run requirements‑based verification cases, ensuring traceability to software requirements.
- Track verification status, problem reports and structural coverage metrics, reporting to stakeholders.
- Author and review verification results, problem‑report dispositions and certification artifacts.
- Support DER/ACO coordination and contribute to FAA/EASA certification documentation.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with DO‑178B/C software verification in avionics or aerospace.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
