Graduate Engineer Trainee - Industrial Engineering

ACG World is hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Industrial Engineering at its Shirwal manufacturing facility.

About the role

The role involves working with the New Product Development team to ensure execution of NPD prototype projects per the new product launch plan.

Responsibilities

• Design Review: Identify manufacturing issues during design review and engage Engineering for technical discussions before drawing approval.
• Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments during the design phase to surface manufacturability concerns early.
• Make & Buy Strategy: Build a make-or-buy strategy based on part criticality to achieve Right First Time (RFT) outcomes.
• Working Standards: Develop manufacturing process designs, SOPs, and standard operating procedures for fabricated and machined components.
• Routings & Work Measurement: Develop routings and conduct work-measurement and method studies to identify optimisation opportunities.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Batch Year: 2025 and 2026.
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout academics.

Skills

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, GD&T, machining, fabrication, and design review concepts.
• Working knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo), MS Excel, and exposure to Teamcenter / Lean / Six Sigma is a plus.
