Tata 1mg, formerly known as 1mg, is an Indian consumer-health and digital-pharmacy platform headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. The company was founded in 2015 by Prashant Tandon, Gaurav Agarwal, and Vikas Chauhan as a successor to Healthkart Plus, and it became part of the Tata Group in 2022 when Tata Digital acquired a controlling stake in its parent entity, 1mg Technologies Private Limited.
Tata 1mg operates a multi-modal consumer-health business that includes e-pharmacy delivery of prescription and over-the-counter medicines, lab tests and home sample collection through 1mg Labs, online doctor consultations, and a growing offline footprint of pharmacy stores. The platform also publishes drug-information content covering composition, uses, side-effects, and substitute medicines, which is widely referenced by Indian patients and caregivers.
