About SAP

SAP SE is a German multinational enterprise-software company headquartered in Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg. It develops business-software for managing operations and customer relations across enterprises of all sizes, including its flagship S/4HANA ERP suite, the SAP Business Technology Platform, the SuccessFactors human-capital-management cloud, the Ariba procurement network, and the Concur travel and expense platform. SAP was founded in 1972 in Mannheim by five former IBM employees: Dietmar Hopp, Hans-Werner Hector, Hasso Plattner, Klaus Tschira, and Claus Wellenreuther. It is one of the largest software companies in the world by revenue, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SAP. In India, SAP Labs India is one of the largest SAP research-and-development centres outside Germany, with major sites in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. SAP India also operates the SAP User Experience and SAP Labs Network India, supporting global product engineering across cloud, application, AI, and developer-experience teams. Indian fresher hiring at SAP typically targets developer-associate, software-developer, software-engineer, technology-consultant, and SAP iXp intern roles, with campus pipelines at IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, and tier-1 engineering institutions. SAP runs the SAP iXp early-career programme that converts internships into full-time roles, alongside its standard graduate hiring tracks across product engineering and consulting.
