SAP SE is a German multinational enterprise-software company headquartered in Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg. It develops business-software for managing operations and customer relations across enterprises of all sizes, including its flagship S/4HANA ERP suite, the SAP Business Technology Platform, the SuccessFactors human-capital-management cloud, the Ariba procurement network, and the Concur travel and expense platform. SAP was founded in 1972 in Mannheim by five former IBM employees: Dietmar Hopp, Hans-Werner Hector, Hasso Plattner, Klaus Tschira, and Claus Wellenreuther.
