About LimeTray
LimeTray is an Indian restaurant-technology software-as-a-service company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. The company provides an end-to-end suite of management and marketing products for restaurants, including a website and online-ordering platform, point-of-sale software, kitchen-display and order-management tools, customer-relationship management and loyalty, inventory and supply-chain management, third-party aggregator integrations, and marketing analytics, used by thousands of restaurants in India, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. The firm was founded in 2013 by Akhilesh Bali, Aditi Bali, Piyush Jain, and Amit Sahu, alumni of the Indian School of Business and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. The founding team had previously built one of India's early online food-ordering portals before pivoting LimeTray into a software platform that helps restaurants build their own direct-to-consumer digital presence rather than relying solely on aggregator marketplaces. LimeTray's customer base includes independent restaurants, regional chains, and large quick-service-restaurant brands, and the company has reported partnerships with Indian and Middle Eastern restaurant groups. It has raised institutional venture capital from investors including Matrix Partners India, JSW Ventures, Singapore Angel Network, and Tirumala Pratap. The company is privately held, with engineering, product, design, customer-success, and sales functions concentrated in its Gurugram headquarters along with regional commercial offices in Dubai and London. LimeTray reports working with more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide. Indian fresher and early-career hiring at LimeTray targets software-engineering, quality-assurance, product-management, design, customer-success, and sales roles, with applications routed through LimeTray's careers portal at limetray.com.
