Henkel AG & Co. KGaA is a German multinational chemical and consumer goods company headquartered in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1876, Henkel today operates two strategic business units: Henkel Adhesive Technologies, the world's largest supplier of industrial and consumer adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings; and Henkel Consumer Brands, which markets laundry, home care, and beauty products under names such as Persil, Schwarzkopf, Loctite, and Pritt. Henkel is publicly listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the DAX 40.
