About GE Digital

GE Digital is the industrial-software business of GE Vernova, headquartered in San Ramon, California. It builds software for power-generation operators, electric utilities, manufacturers, and asset-intensive industrial customers, including products for asset-performance management, manufacturing execution, electrical-grid orchestration, and industrial automation. Flagship products include Predix, GridOS, Proficy, and Asset Performance Management. GE Digital was originally established within General Electric in 2015 to consolidate the company's industrial-software portfolio. Following the 2024 spin-off of GE Vernova as an independent public company focused on the energy sector, GE Digital is now part of GE Vernova's Electrification Software segment, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GEV. In India, GE Digital and broader GE Vernova engineering teams operate from major centres in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, supporting global product engineering, cloud platform, data-and-analytics, and customer-engineering work. The Bengaluru John F. Welch Technology Centre is one of GE's largest research-and-development facilities outside the United States.
