Fidelity National Information Services, branded FIS, is an American financial-technology company headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, that provides core banking, payments, capital-markets, and merchant-services software and outsourcing to banks, capital-markets firms, asset managers, insurers, and merchants worldwide. The company was founded in 1968 as Systematics, became part of Alltel Information Services, and was acquired by Fidelity National Financial in 2003 before being spun off and renamed Fidelity National Information Services.

FIS operates a broad portfolio of products spanning retail and commercial core-banking platforms, digital and mobile banking, lending and originations, treasury management, wealth and retirement administration, post-trade processing for capital markets, payment switches and card-issuing platforms, fraud-and-risk solutions, and regulatory reporting. It also operates one of the world's largest merchant-acquiring businesses through its Worldpay subsidiary, which it acquired in 2019 and from which it has since divested a majority stake.
