About Adani Group
The Adani Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The group operates across ports and logistics, renewable and conventional energy, transmission and distribution, gas distribution, airports, cement, agribusiness, defence and aerospace, real estate, data centers, and digital and media businesses. The group was founded in 1988 by Gautam Adani, originally as a commodity-trading firm, and has scaled into one of the largest Indian conglomerates by market capitalization, employer footprint, and infrastructure ownership. Several Adani entities are publicly listed on the BSE and NSE, including Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and SEZ, Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Total Gas, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Wilmar, ACC, and Ambuja Cements. Operationally, the group runs the largest commercial port footprint in India, a leading private renewable-energy generation business, a major transmission and distribution business, and India's largest private-sector airport operator following the Mumbai International Airport and broader airport-portfolio acquisitions. It is also expanding into data centers via AdaniConneX, a joint venture with EdgeConneX. The group runs corporate offices, project sites, and operations across Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, and large industrial sites such as Mundra, Hazira, and Dahej, along with renewable and infrastructure projects spread across multiple Indian states. Indian fresher hiring at Adani Group typically feeds into graduate-engineer-trainee, mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation, supply-chain, finance, and digital and IT roles, with structured campus programs across the IITs, NITs, IIMs, and other premier institutes.
