About the role

Zensar is seeking a Mobile QA Automation Engineer for its Mobile Application Platform team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on testing Android and iOS apps, building automation frameworks, and ensuring high‑quality releases in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory and end‑to‑end tests on Android and iOS applications.
Design, develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using Appium or similar tools.
Create reusable, scalable automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
Validate apps across devices, OS versions, screen sizes and network conditions, including permissions, notifications and background processing.
Perform API testing and verify backend integrations.
Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders, communicating test progress and quality risks.

Eligibility

4–8 years of software testing experience with a strong focus on mobile applications.
Hands‑on experience with Android and iOS testing.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum delivery practices.

Skills

Mobile automation using Appium or equivalent.
Programming/scripting in Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript/TypeScript.
Automation frameworks such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, Jest or Mocha.
API testing tools like Postman or REST‑assured.
Version control with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Ability to analyze device logs and troubleshoot failures.
