About the role

Zensar is looking for an experienced MERN/MEAN developer to build and maintain high‑performance web applications. The position is based in Pune, India and requires at least five years of hands‑on development experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and sustain web solutions using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
Write clean, maintainable code and follow best‑practice guidelines.
Create responsive UI components and ensure optimal user experience.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems while participating in code reviews.

Eligibility

Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in both front‑end (React, Angular) and back‑end (Node.js, Express, NestJS) technologies.
Experience with MongoDB (Atlas preferred) and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
Basic knowledge of AWS services and deployment.
Understanding of authentication mechanisms like JWT and OAuth.
