Frontend Developer

About the role

YO AI Labs is looking for a senior‑level Frontend Developer to work remotely on building reinforcement‑learning environments that test AI coding models. You will craft deterministic benchmarks, design realistic software‑engineering tasks and ensure the evaluation framework is robust and reproducible.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reinforcement‑learning environments for tasks such as bug fixing, feature addition, refactoring and performance tuning.
• Create deterministic verification systems and golden‑reference solutions for each task.
• Develop realistic, reproducible software‑engineering scenarios that accurately measure coding ability.
• Document solutions and provide clear technical feedback to AI model developers.
• Collaborate with remote teams to ensure tasks align with project goals.
• Maintain high code quality and adhere to best‑practice engineering standards.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional software‑engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, C++ or TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience with large‑scale or distributed codebases is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts is advantageous but not required.
