About the role

As a Web Engineer at xAI, you will design and build high‑performance, real‑time web interfaces that serve millions of users worldwide. The role blends full‑stack development with a strong focus on frontend excellence, allowing you to shape user‑facing features, dashboards, and interactive tools while collaborating with top‑tier talent.

Responsibilities

• Own features from design through launch, acting as the web expert on the team.
• Build and maintain performant products using modern web standards, frameworks, and AI tooling.
• Develop full‑stack components such as user dashboards, personalized experiences, and real‑time analytics.
• Lead architecture, scalability, and reliability decisions for high‑concurrency systems.
• Ensure engineering excellence via testing, monitoring, deployment, and secure data handling.
• Drive technical and product decisions and ship global features.

Eligibility

• 2+ years of web development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Skills

• Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern CSS/SASS.
• Experience delivering high‑quality UI/UX design.
• Proven track record of performance, security, and offline optimization.
• Preferred: experience with Rust, Go, Java, Python, or Scala for backend work.
