Associate Engineer

About the role

WSA is seeking an Associate Engineer to join its Android development team in Hyderabad. You will design, build, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Jetpack components while ensuring high code quality, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android apps with clean, scalable Kotlin code.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and system tests to cover critical functionality.
• Design solutions that align with architectural guidelines and product requirements.
• Integrate third‑party libraries where appropriate and troubleshoot existing components.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, testers, and fellow engineers during planning, estimation, and iteration cycles.
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Android SDK, APIs, and Jetpack libraries.
• Object‑oriented design and clean architecture principles.
• Automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
