About the role

Weave is seeking a Mobile Engineer to create fast, visually appealing cross‑platform apps for iOS and Android using Flutter. The position is fully remote within India and works closely with designers, product managers, and senior engineers to deliver features that power small healthcare practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement UI components with Flutter and Dart.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and manage local storage (SQLite/Hive).
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
  • Develop unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure stability.
  • Debug performance issues and optimise the app for diverse devices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, pair programming, and continuous learning.

Eligibility

  • 2‑3 years of professional mobile development experience.
  • Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of features.

Skills

  • Flutter framework with Dart language.
  • State‑management patterns such as Riverpod, BLoC or Provider.
  • RESTful API integration and local databases (SQLite/Hive).
  • Version control with Git and standard pull‑request workflow.
  • Attention to UI/UX details, animations and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) is a plus.
