Full Stack Engineer

About the role

The UnitedHealth Group Off Campus Drive 2026 places you inside the Optum technology team to build and maintain healthcare applications. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work across the technology stack with Java SpringBoot on the backend and React on the frontend.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using Java SpringBoot on the backend and React on the frontend.
• Build and deploy microservices following team standards for reliability and observability.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code optimized for performance across browsers and devices.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Provide guidance for junior and mid-level engineers when required during code reviews and design discussions.

Eligibility

• B.Tech / MCA / MSc / MTech with a minimum of 16 years of formal education.
• Strong development experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and REST or SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ReactJS, and modern UI development practices.
• Good understanding of MySQL and relational database design.
• Good knowledge of Containerization, Cloud technologies, Agile methodology, CI/CD, and Jenkins.
