About the role

TVS Next is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for its Chennai office. The role involves designing, automating, and maintaining highly available AWS‑based cloud infrastructure that supports enterprise‑grade applications. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with software, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and manage scalable AWS infrastructure, including ECS, Fargate, RDS and PostgreSQL.
Develop Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate reliable releases.
Implement caching strategies and monitor system health, performance and availability.
Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, networking and platform issues.
Document procedures, architecture decisions and drive continuous reliability improvements.

Eligibility

5‑8 years of hands‑on experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
Proven experience with container workloads (ECS/Fargate) and relational databases (RDS/PostgreSQL).

Skills

AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Fargate, RDS, etc.)
Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
CI/CD automation and DevOps practices
Linux operating environments
Monitoring, logging and observability tooling
Networking concepts including VPC, DNS, load balancers and security groups
