About the role
TVS Next is looking for an experienced Python Developer to join its high‑performance engineering team in Chennai. You will design and maintain scalable backend platforms, IoT solutions and data‑driven applications using Python, Django and modern cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain backend systems with Python and Django.
- Build robust REST APIs using Django REST Framework for enterprise and IoT products.
- Implement device‑communication layers using MQTT and manage real‑time streams with Apache Kafka.
- Integrate Snowflake and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) for analytics and reporting.
- Utilise Redis for caching, session handling and distributed task processing.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, data‑engineering and QA teams while following CI/CD and Agile practices.
Eligibility
- 5‑8 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
- Strong command of object‑oriented design and software engineering fundamentals.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable APIs and enterprise‑grade services.
