About the role
Turvo is seeking a senior UI engineer to design and build high‑performance user interfaces for its collaborative Transportation Management System. The position is based onsite in Hyderabad, India and requires strong expertise in modern front‑end frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain UI components using Angular, AngularJS and React.
- Continuously improve UI quality, performance, accessibility and security.
- Participate in code and design reviews, offering trade‑off analyses.
- Collaborate with product, design and other engineering teams to deliver features.
- Evaluate and integrate new front‑end technologies into the stack.
- Mentor junior engineers and support release and deployment activities.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of front‑end software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with Angular or a comparable SPA framework.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Skills
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS (including BEM, SASS/LESS).
- Strong knowledge of Git and feature‑branch workflows.
- Experience writing unit tests with Jest.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express, and build tools such as Gulp and Webpack.
- Understanding of RESTful services and performance optimisation.
