About the role

Standard Chartered India is looking for an Engineer in Development to join its on‑site software engineering team. The role involves contributing to the design and development lifecycle, collaborating with cross‑functional partners, and ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic and regulatory objectives.

Responsibilities

• Understand and align with the Group’s overall business strategy and model.
• Stay aware of the broader business, economic and market environment influencing the Group.
• Execute and supervise the end‑to‑end Design & Development process.
• Lead by example, fostering the right culture, values and expectations within the team while working with risk and control partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and business conduct standards.
