Frontend Engineer

About the role

As a Frontend Engineer at Sporty Group you will build mobile‑first, highly responsive user interfaces that serve millions of users daily. The product relies on a clean Vue.js architecture, and you will be expected to deliver performant code while embracing the company’s focus on sustainability and remote‑first culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile‑first front‑ends using Vue.js and related tooling.
• Ensure high performance and optimal user experience across devices.
• Build UI components for internal management systems.
• Participate in code reviews, planning, grooming, demos and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align on APIs and integration points.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 4 years of professional frontend experience.
• Proficiency with Vue.js or a comparable framework (React, Angular).
• Strong knowledge of Git, ES6, Webpack, and CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass).
• Experience with state‑management libraries such as Vuex or Redux.
• Good communication skills and ability to work remotely.
• Bonus: familiarity with Java/SpringBoot backend stack.
