About the role

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Investment Foundation team in Noida. The role focuses on building and evolving backend systems using C# and APL, designing cloud‑native solutions on Azure, and driving technical excellence across the product.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of backend services, primarily in APL.
Architect scalable, secure solutions and migrate them toward Azure cloud‑native patterns.
Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews and champion agile practices.
Collaborate with product and engineering peers to deliver high‑quality features quickly.
Ensure code reliability through unit, integration testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Identify performance issues and propose sustainable fixes.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong grasp of object‑oriented design, architecture patterns and clean coding.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international stakeholders.

Skills

Proficient in C#/.NET (Core/Framework) for backend development.
Experience with Azure services and cloud‑native architecture.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, messaging concepts and Git version control.
Hands‑on with automated testing, CI/CD and code quality practices.
Willingness to learn APL; prior experience not required.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools is a plus.
