About the role

Silicon Labs is officially inviting applications for the Engineer I – SW Design role at its Hyderabad engineering hub.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for highly integrated System-on-Chips (SoCs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement low-power wireless connectivity protocols for IoT devices.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues at the intersection of hardware and software.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable software design.
• Continuously learn and apply new embedded technologies to support smart home, industrial IoT, and smart city ecosystems.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ within embedded environments.
• Understanding of microcontroller architectures, RTOS basics, and low-level hardware interactions.
