Software Engineer

About the role

Securonix is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to its flagship SIEM platform. The role involves building scalable, high‑performance features, collaborating with product and security teams, and staying current with emerging cybersecurity technologies. Candidates should have 2‑3 years of professional experience and a strong foundation in Java or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the SIEM product with emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Work closely with product owners, designers, and security analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Write and maintain automated tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
• Produce technical documentation, including design specs and API guides.
• Continuously explore new tools, cloud services, and AI integrations to enhance the product.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB) and front‑end frameworks (React or Angular).

Skills

• Java / Python programming.
• SQL and relational database management.
• Front‑end development with React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript.
• Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
