Summer 2027 Intern – UI/UX Designer

About the role

Salesforce is looking for a creative UI/UX Designer intern for its Summer 2027 program. The six‑month, office‑based internship in Bengaluru or Hyderabad offers hands‑on experience designing user‑centred interfaces for cloud‑based enterprise products, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and contributing to real customer‑facing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine UI components for web, mobile and tablet applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and incorporate findings into design iterations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and marketers to translate requirements into intuitive experiences.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and ensure consistency across Salesforce platforms.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups and detailed specifications using industry‑standard tools.
• Communicate design decisions clearly and advocate for user‑centred solutions.

Eligibility

• Enrolled in or graduating with an M.Des degree in 2027.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design process.
• Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru, Karnataka or Hyderabad, Telangana for six months.

Skills

• User‑centred design methodology.
• UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• User research, analytics and usability testing.
• Collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with design systems; experience with CRM or enterprise software is a plus.
