Associate Software Test Engineer

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring for the position of Associate Software Test Engineer in Pune. This role focuses on test design, automated testing, software verification, defect reporting, test documentation, Java, Selenium, JUnit, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain software tests throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop automated tests for new products and software systems.
• Execute automated test suites and monitor their results.
• Identify, investigate, and report software defects.
• Develop and maintain test documentation required by the software development process.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in test automation for new products or software systems.
• Knowledge of Java, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

Skills

• Test automation and scripting languages.
• Selenium or Marathon.
• JUnit.
• GitLab and SVN.
• Jenkins and modern continuous integration and delivery practices.
