Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Razorpay, you will be pivotal in building solid frontend foundations, infrastructure, and delivering top-notch user experiences. You will work collaboratively with backend developers, graphic designers, and UX designers to ensure consistency across all web creation elements.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement and maintain frontend frameworks and libraries, primarily React.
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

Eligibility

• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in frontend development.
• Proficient knowledge of a popular JavaScript framework like React.
• Experience with common front-end tools such as SASS/Stylus, Grunt, or Gulp.
• Good understanding of REST API principles.
