About the role

Kaleris is seeking a Software Engineer to join its innovative technology center in Chennai. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building the next generation of the company's products, analyzing functional requirements, designing software programs, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Analyze functional requirements, design, and develop scalable software programs adhering to strict specifications.
  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to maintain and enhance both new and legacy product features.
  • Design & Architecture: Design and maintain user interfaces, advanced algorithms, and data structures for various functional modules.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Create, maintain, and automate unit and functional test cases/suites using standard or proprietary tools.
  • Global Collaboration: Consistently communicate project statuses and ongoing development efforts to management teams based in India and the USA.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Excellent Object-Oriented programming skills and a proven track record with high-performance technologies.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Visual Studio and Code Warrior IDEs.
  • Experience working with source code control systems such as SVN, CVS, VSS, or equivalent modern repositories.
