Financial Due Diligence Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring a Financial Due Diligence Associate in Gurgaon to support mergers and acquisitions. The role involves analysing financial statements, assessing quality of earnings, assets and cash flows, and delivering insights that help clients make informed transaction decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large‑scale due‑diligence projects independently.
• Apply strong business acumen and audit expertise to identify purchase price, working‑capital and debt‑related adjustments.
• Prepare and present clear deliverables, articulating findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to build robust internal networks.
• Utilise Indian GAAP and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
• Leverage Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Pivot and Tableau for data analysis and visualisation.
• Maintain the highest level of integrity throughout engagements.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 0‑1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

• Financial due diligence and statutory audit knowledge.
• Proficiency in Indian GAAP and accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Power Pivot and Tableau.
