About the role

Premier Research is seeking a Senior AI Developer to design, build, and support enterprise‑grade AI solutions for its biotech and med‑tech clients. The position is fully remote and reports to the IT & Corporate Administration team. You will work with cutting‑edge large‑language‑model platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, and Azure AI Foundry to create intelligent integrations that accelerate drug‑development workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and orchestration of AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Claude Workflows and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Develop, test and fine‑tune prompts, pipelines and RAG implementations with Azure AI Search and vector stores.
  • Build secure integrations between AI platforms and enterprise applications via REST APIs, webhooks and event‑driven patterns.
  • Deploy custom AI agents on Azure Container Apps and maintain associated automation scripts (Python, TypeScript, PowerShell).
  • Administer Azure AI Foundry components – model catalog, Prompt Flow, safety evaluation, monitoring and endpoint management.
  • Resolve AI‑related tickets, lead platform upgrades and produce clear documentation and knowledge‑base articles.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in IT, preferably with enterprise AI or application integration.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written.

Skills

  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Azure AI Foundry.
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of LLM architecture, prompt engineering, AI safety and model evaluation.
  • Experience building RESTful services, webhooks and event‑driven integrations.
  • Familiarity with Azure Container Apps, Azure AI Search and vector‑database concepts.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as Workday, Salesforce or Cornerstone is a plus.
