Product Management Intern

About the role

Paytm is seeking a Product Management Intern to join its Recharges & Bill Payments product team. The intern will support senior product managers in creating product roadmap timelines, writing comprehensive user stories, and detailing product requirement documents (PRDs).

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy Support: Assisting senior product managers in creating product roadmap timelines, writing comprehensive user stories, and detailing product requirement documents (PRDs).
• Market & Competitor Intelligence: Conducting systematic research, tracking fintech competitor feature rollouts, and highlighting new product growth channels.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partnering with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to manage agile development sprints, feature testing, and release validation.
• Analytics & Data Insights: Monitoring key user performance metrics, tracking user journeys, and structuring actionable dashboards to evaluate product performance.

Eligibility

• Current students pursuing graduation or recent graduates, preferably with backgrounds in Engineering, Computer Applications, or quantitative disciplines.
• Strong quantitative reasoning, structured problem-solving skills, and deep attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with cross-functional partners.

Skills

• Passion for digital technologies, basic mobile/web user interface aesthetics, and structural user-journey design.
• Familiarity with product tools (such as Jira, Figma, or Notion) and analytics suites (like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or SQL) is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
