Information Technology Intern

About the role

P&G is offering a 6‑month Information Technology internship in Mumbai for final‑year students. Interns will join one of four technology tracks – Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, AI Engineering or Data Science/Engineering – and contribute to real‑world projects while learning modern cloud, DevOps and data practices.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and review code for data‑centric applications or platform services.
• Assist in building and maintaining cloud‑native solutions on Azure, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage container workloads with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Create monitoring, logging and observability dashboards for reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver features and documentation.
• Support data pipeline development or machine‑learning model building, depending on the track.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Available for a full‑time 6‑month internship in Mumbai.

Skills

• Foundational programming in Java and/or TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD principles.
• Basic knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
