About the role

Optum is hiring a Software Engineer to maintain and optimize healthcare applications that drive global health optimization.

Responsibilities

• Perform Java coding and bug fixing for existing enterprise health applications.
• Execute database updates and complex queries using SQL.
• Generate ad-hoc reports using SQL and Excel to assist business stakeholders.
• Attend daily Scrum meetings to discuss tasks, blockers, and sprint progress.
• Participate in production code deployments (including scheduled weekend releases).

Eligibility

• Graduate degree in B.E/B.Tech, MCA, or related technical field.
• Proven skills in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Sybase ASE or MS SQL is preferred.
