Software Engineer

About the role

Newgen Software Technologies Ltd. is looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions using core Java technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, and deploy robust software solutions utilizing Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and SQL/Oracle databases.
• Participate actively in unit testing, code reviews, system integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Author technical artifacts, including system design documents, test execution plans, and deployment runbooks.
• Execute system troubleshooting, server log analysis, and database query optimization for enterprise applications.

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
• Minimum of 60% marks throughout 10th, 12th, Graduation, and Post-Graduation.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on software development experience in Java technologies.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and JBoss application server environments.
• Solid hands-on experience with Relational Databases using SQL / Oracle.
• Firm grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, multi-tier software architecture, and web framework integration.
