About the role

Netrix Global is looking for a Cloud Engineer who will manage both on‑premise and cloud IT infrastructure for the company and its clients. The role is fully remote, reports to the TOC/NOC Manager, and serves as an escalation point for service‑desk and systems teams.

Responsibilities

Handle incidents and service requests related to Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, SAN storage and backup systems.
Administer, monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, file/print services and hypervisor platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Oversee backup jobs, perform restores and support disaster‑recovery processes using tools such as Veeam or Datto.
Apply routine updates and upgrades to servers, storage, hypervisors and backup environments.
Provide guidance to NOC, service‑desk and systems teams and participate in on‑call rotations.
Document configurations, procedures and best practices, and contribute to client onboarding and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5‑7 years of hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and SAN/backup technologies.

Skills

Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP and file/print services.
Strong knowledge of VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
Experience with SAN storage solutions and backup products (Veeam, Datto, Carbonite, etc.).
Basic networking skills for server and virtual network issue resolution.
