About the role

Netflix's JavaScript Foundations team in Warsaw designs and maintains the global JavaScript runtime strategy, TypeScript toolchain, and dependency management for the entire company. The role involves shaping the UI Paved Road, creating libraries and workflows, and ensuring a secure, modern ecosystem for both browser and server environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand developer usage of JavaScript at Netflix and evolve best‑practice recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the external JavaScript community to steer the language vision.
• Build and integrate libraries, tools, and workflows that boost developer productivity.
• Define and enhance dependency‑management, packaging, and publishing processes for Node.js.
• Address complex architectural challenges with simple, intuitive designs.
• Drive adoption of new technologies across large, existing codebases.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
